San Francisco Alumnae Chapter
Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

Greetings sorors, community members, partners, and visitors!
Welcome to the website of the San Francisco Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. I am proud to serve as the 32nd President of the San Francisco Alumnae Chapter. Since our chartering on March 27, 1948, we have been committed to upholding the legacy of our beloved sisterhood through impactful service, transformative programs, and unwavering advocacy for San Francisco and Marin Counties.
The Mission of the San Francisco Alumnae Chapter is to organize and implement a full program of public service initiatives in the local communities of San Francisco and Marin. Rooted in Delta Sigma Theta's Five-Point Programmatic Thrust, our chapter’s work focuses on economic justice, educational equity, physical and mental health, and social action. Through these program areas, we strive to provide resources, scholarships, mentorship, and strategic initiatives that empower individuals, strengthen families, and uplift communities.
Founded on January 13, 1913, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is an organization of college educated women committed to the constructive development of its members and to public service with a primary focus on the Black community. At the heart of our work is a commitment to sisterhood, scholarship, service, and social action. Whether we are advocating for policy reform, supporting youth through educational programs, promoting financial literacy, or addressing critical health disparities, our goal remains the same: to leave a lasting impact that preserves our legacy, promotes our wellbeing, and protects our future toward a stronger, more just society.
I invite you to explore our website, learn about our programs, and partner with us in service. Together, we will continue to make a difference in the lives of those we serve.
In Community and Service,
